I installed the ipd mount myself a few months ago. It is not that difficult. You have to cut the old one out with a hacksaw and then press the two halves of the new one together- this was the toughest part as air gets trapped between the two halves. I noticed a slight increase in vibration the first couple of times starting up. It's better than having to replace the OEM one multiple times as some have reported.
