Re: ECU 850 1994

Unrack the ECU by pulling the no-force lever towards front of car. ECU will release. Pull out of ECU box. Remove no-force lever by gently lifting hinge points away from ECU. Remove lever. Bend tabs around ECU cover (4) and lift off cover. If chip mod has been done a socket will have been installed. For visual clues of modified units see www.tme.se and click on the 850 performance page. Then click on the link in first paragraph. This has photos of original vs modified. Only exception is ECUs modified by downlinks per TME system. You'd know if TME did it because the car would go like stink and run high boost levels.
