Overheated v70 V70-XC70 1998

Which is why a compression test is needed, with oil added to the cylinders because the engine is cold and dry from sitting.

As to warping, I would be more concerned about the block itself during an overheat. The aluminum head seldom warps, there is enough oil going through it to keep things 'cool'.

According to the first writup, the coolant poured out of the turbo hose.

If this were my car, I would fix the leak and fill the system with coolant. Pour a Tbsp of oil in each cylinder, get a good battery, and crank it!
