850 1996 Code reset Time / efforts? 850

My roof rack says to limit load to 200lbs...

1996 is a hard one to get the codes to reset. It does need 2-3 days of driving, commuting to work, to get into 'ready' mode. California, with its strict test has an exclusion for the 1996 850, as all codes may not ever be set.

If 2 out of 3 are in the ready state, then ask the test facillity to look for any exclusions. If you get tested by the local mechanic, let him know about 1996 850's.

First, get a good battery. Then drive it around for a couple of days. Ignore the service light, it goes off after 2 minutes anyway.
