Do the rings a favor and add a table spoon of oil to each cylinder. Neat trick: use a drinking straw, insert into oil bottle enough to pick up about 2 inches of oil, cover top end with finger, stick into spark plug hole and let finger off the top. Do this for all 5 and give the oil about 30 minutes to coat the rings before starting. You are probably good for 5-6 hours of ring protection before engine start, perhaps longer.
The injector relay is on the fan shroud, next to the fan relay.
You can order a key from the dealer, their key cutter is a lazer type and can cut using the VIN. There is no transponder in the key for 1998 and no programming involved. The remote is an expensive thing! Talk to the parts dept, not a service advisor.
You should be able to start the engine with the electrical portion and a screwdriver. Don't forget, you won't be able to turn the steering wheel!!!
The security system does need to be disabled, I think. Just check the red LED on the top of the dash, if it is blinking the security is on.
