I will have to check for "dips" while braking, doesn't feel like there is any from within the car but will get my trusty helper to drive while I monitor.
There is not a strut tower per se, but there is a cross beam which essentially links the outer sides of the strut towers together, about half way down attaches the upper toque engine mount. I am guessing the purpose of this deal is strictly as engine support and not performance as the mount points on the strut towers are nothing more than bushings if you will, i'll take some pics.
Wouldn't surprise me if the struts are getting tired....after all it is central MA. - You'd think you were on the surface of the moon when in reality its just the local interstate.
Klaus, good point about the speed limits, now that you say it I can appreicate what you are saying....when it says 20 MPH its usually a doosy, when it says 35...you're good for at least 45!
As a side note, the AC vents in the B pillars paid dividends today, sitting in traffic I registered 106 on the ambient air sensor, cooler than the North Pole inside! Those B pillar vents help to really even out the temp from front to back!
