Very common problem. MVS has many posts about it.
The door stop has come unfastened to either the door skin or the A post.
It's a lousy design.
I had the A post fail on the right front door and the skin fail on the left front door.
Had the right door post welded.
Was able to repair the left door with a really big washer.
