I've got a an Eclipse 33240 for the 6 main speakers. An internal DSP amp for the Center Channel. And an Eclipse 33230 for the Subs. All together 1240 max amps. Zero distortion. Well distortion is going to always happen, but at the point of distortion you'll probally go deaf. Yeah the speakers are all 4 ohm and the sub's I'm almost sure are 4 ohm and not 8, but I could be wrong on the sub part. The gain's on all the amps are in the - mode. I like my music really loud (highway only) and diamonds can keep up with that very easly. It took me a while to be convinced I need sub's because I associated that with ghetto cars, but it make a large improvement. I just use them to fill in the sound. The only visable change is would be the head unit.
BTW the website for Eclipse is www.eclipse-web.com
the specs for their amps is http://www.eclipse-web.com/product/amp/index.html.
The main product site is http://www.eclipse-web.com/nf_top.html
