Brake shoe help 850 1996

I mistakenly messed up on the V70 spreader, because it was rusted together. I had put in new cables thinking that was the original problem, so the spreader came out. It took a while to figure out how it went back together.

You are right, the 850 is easier in that regard. But only if the cable works! I am ordering a new cable so the spreader will go back into its slot and not spread the shoes before the drum goes on...

The right side shoes have delaminated. What a basket case! Why do I do this to myself? I could have waited for a nice S70 T5 with a manual. Of course, my luck would have had a partial clutch failure and a timing belt ready to go.

Once I find some nice seat skins, this might be a drivable car.
