Needing more light from headlights V70-XC70

Reflectors can not be touched, period. The coating is so thin and delicate, a finger or glove will mar the finish.

The DOT lenses are garbage, they diffuse the light rather than direct it for night vision. There are Ecode lenses that help throw a flat cutoff beam down the road.

The best bet is to find a pair of 2004 C70 modules, complete with reflector, to replace the old DOT lights.

Replacing the bulbs with stronger, hotter light will only destroy the wiring.
