Thanks Klaus. Good to know. The engine I'm looking at is complete with exhaust manifold, but you raise a couple good points - it won't match my exhaust, and the my engine computer won't be adequate.


here's the listing. Was trying to get more detailed information, but the seller seems to know very little. If it might work in my C70, it would have maybe been a great deal, but maybe not.


My 237k B5234T3 is plenty powerful - particularly with the IPD upgrades, but it just doesn't sound right anymore. It can sometimes runs *really* rough when cold. Idle feels a little off as well.

There's a certain peace of mind when you've got a good spare engine, but if it would just cause a bunch of compatibility problems, best not to drop a few hundred when I've got a "new" 850 that needs some basic attention.
