Here's the answer for #3

Unfortunately Volvo put a poor (small) alternator in this vehicle, thus when there is a current draw the electronics feel it. I actually spoke with the tech at Volvo and he said it was "normal" and he's seen it in Audi's as well. I've only experienced it in vehicle's with major soundsystems that pull alot of current from the vehicle. Overall it's a bit annoying but I just think of it as my own personal lightshow!LOL!!
