Noticed on a trip last week that both tires on passenger side on wife`s XC70 were quite worn in the middle of the tire due to over inflation. The work was done at a local tire shop. We took the car in to another shop in a nearby town to get the allseasons installed & the tire tech called me over to tell that one lugnut was missing on a wheel & the other 3 were very loose, having only been hand tightened.
I bear some responsibility here for not having checked the pressures/workmanship after the car came from the first tire shop. Scary to think about losing a wheel at highway speeds!
