The coil doesn't have arcs that flash like I've seen on ignition wires. It's more like steady white lines along each side. Kind of like light emanating from behind a door that's open a crack. Maybe that's normal, I don't know... The ticking noise does seem a little weird, but maybe that's normal too?

I don't have a gauge to check fuel pressure. Maybe I can borrow one from Autozone or somewhere else. Once she starts she runs great, hot or cold. Always has. Nothing different there.

Just acquired a multimeter. After I read up on how to use it, I'll start using it to diagnose the cam/crank sensors and ignition electronics. I'm somewhat of an electrical moron so this is all new territory for me. Oh well, I'm might as well just jump right in...
