I have posted the following in previous messages with no response yet:

What are the major differences that seperates the R from the others?

Is the TLA just a Turbo with platinum paint or is it the next level up from the Turbo?

You have a valid question.

It's not a misprint!!! TLA wagons do exist, I know, I have one.

In 1996 the TLA or Turbo Limited edition was made. As best as I can tell this was the only year the cars were made. (If you doubt me Ray and Tony, go to the Kelley Blue Book web site and go through each year for the 850's and you will find only 1996 models with TLA.) They came in both sedan and wagon versions with platinum paint.

I don't have in front of me just now, but can post later the information off the Dealers sticker from when the car was new and list what came on my car if that will help. Maybe someone else can post what came on his or her Turbo and R models, then we can compare.
