SAS Wiring Question Secondary Air System 850 1996

There is no such thing as 12V negative, but your ground wire to the blower could be compromised.

The solenoid on the fan shroud is sent a signal by the ECM to open the SAS valve and also turn on the blower. The relay for the blower then grounds the blower and it turns on. The ECM checks the return signal from the solenoid and the relay, if both are good, P0410 is not created. That's the nutshell explaination.

It does take several itterations before the error code is stored and the CEL is turned on.

Have you tried to supply 12V to the blower? Just disconnect the large blue wire from the relay and give it a try.
