Fornt spring: deformed or heavy duty?

The diameter of the steel is the same on the two springs.

There is an irregularity in the last winding of the one coil: the spacing is wider and the coil diameter changes from aboutn 5 4/4 inch to 5 7/8 - 6 inches.
