2003 V40 S40-V40 2003

Thanks for your reply. I'm okay with a fixer-upper and doing repairs myself if I'm familiar with, and that would be on rear-wheel drive 240 non-turbos with lots of engine bay space.

My sense is that this 2003 car has too many problems. I asked the seller for an estimate to repair the heater core (a NIGHTMARE on 240s) and left strut. Seller replied with cost of parts, which is minimal compared to labor, so my red flags are even higher now. I'm still open to hearing other views, because that can only improve my decision making. Thanks again!
