New tires can affect your mileage as opposed to your old tires. There is more "drag". Bet your mileage will improve as the tires "break in". Plus your new tires are slightly wider.

Yes, the 205's might affect your speedo a little. How much, I don't know. Shouldn't be too much as the profile is the same and there is very little difference in width. If you have a GPS go out on the highway and check your speedo against the reading on the GPS.
