poor mileage.....discount tire put different/wrong size on my car

I agree with the explanation. It does not stand to reason that a quarter-inch in circumference could make a noticeable change. I've been driving for 150,000 miles (total miles 320,000) with a check engine light since I replaced the catalytic converter with an aftermarket. I think there's more at play here. Question is how much time, effort and money do you invest with this many miles.
