I had a 1979 264GL. The v-6 engine is the same in the Bertone, I think. It was a Volvo/Pugoue/Renault engine. It ran great. You need to change oil frequently as dirty oil clogged the small internal openings and could lead to all sort of expensive issues. You also need to make sure coolant hose are in good shape as not to loose coolant and overheat the engine. Heads wharp easily. Very smooth suspension. Really liked that year and the v-6. Wished I could have afforded a Bertone. The Bertone has a very nice leather interior and lower roof line than the 4 doors. Check for service records of course!
