DIM Failure?

Driving my wife`s`04 XC70 home from the city tonight & almost out of the city when the dash lights went out. No hi beams or signal lights but low beams & brake lights operational.
Finally was able to pull over & with my IPhone 'flashlight" saw that none of the gauges were working.
Would this be the DIM or something as simple & inexpensive as a fuse?
