Disable Deadlock Feature - so it works like a 95 instead of a 97 850 1997

I used to have a 95 850 and loved being able to turn the key on the tailgate or drivers door and instantly lock or unlock the whole car. My newer 97 car has the "deadlock" feature that requires me to turn the key twice, and won't open the whole car when unlocking the tailgate.

What would it take to make my 97 locks work like the locks in my 95? I don't use the remote and don't intend to, I'm all about the key.
