xc70 V70-XC70

Kris, You will recieve some good guidance from the members of this site.
I believe from 2003 and later the XC is a solid reliable buy. My wife has a 2003 since almost new and it now has 130,000+ miles on it. No power train
issues at all.

I have several friends with newer XC's and high mileage ...... no power train problems( one had an oil seal weep and needed that fixed).

We have owned a 240, 740, 940, 850, V70 and nothing compares to the XC when the weather turns bad.

As much as we love the older volvo's, what seems to drive replacement for me
is the significant safety improvements which means looking for a newer Volvo
which I am doing now to replace my 2004 V70.
