This is timely, I was just about to start looking for a thread on this subject. Yes, 1993 and 1994 headlight switch is different than later models. Today I yanked out the burned bulbs and rigged white LEDs in their place. But since i had taken out the other switches to also replace LEDs, i made the mistake of prying open the switch itself to see if there was a bulb that illuminated the knob itself. There aren't any more bulbs, but it was hell to reassemble, and i am not 100% sure i was able to put it back properly. It is working, but only the headlight bulb turns on, in both parking and headlight position.
It appears the contacts on the 93-94 switch are in differeent position than the later switch, so my intent was to hear if the later switch does work on the earlier model or not.
