You may have the polarity wrong on the parking light side. The parking light indicator only comes on when the switch is set on parking light. On the 1994+ switches, the parking light is a brighter light to 'help' remind you that the parking lights are on.

What kind of LED bulbs did you get? What mods did you have to make to get them to work and stay in place?
