Yannis,

Close, but not quite the same Michelin. The 1995 model year M3's had the Pilot SX MXX3 in a 235/40-17, while the '94/'95 850 Turbo used the 205/50-16 Pilot HX MXM (which BMW also used, in different sizes, on other cars).
