Our '04 V70 has two numbers on that sticker. The second one is the engine serial number. It is possible to take a picture of or see the number on the back of the engine.

An interesting thing that I found is that this engine, sn 3271759, has a different style timing belt tensioner than is called for by the serial number but by 2005 Volvo should gotten that sorted out.
