The engine is B5254T4, has a dual VVT (variable vale timing) setup. I am not sure if it is because of these, or is it because of the exhaust heat shield, but I could not seem to see the back of the engine (facing the firewall, next to the #1 cylinder exhaust), the ledge or shelf on which I was told the stamped engine serial number is. Do I have to remove the spark plug cover,
