Unable to open the hood 850

Removing the grill does not expose the release cable.

The last resort option for me would be to pull the right turn signal out, destroying the retaining spring. That exposes the bottom of the latch and a long screwdriver can be used to push the lever the cable is supposed to pull.

Keeping it running is better than buying new
