Well, that makes a big difference! Now, concentrate on the windshield. Using a screwdriver, pry up the plastic surround at the top of the glass and take a look behind it, you may need a small flashlight. Besides the dust and dirt, look for black sealant between the glass and frame. If there is none or a very tiny amount, add silicone sealant to the top and sides, if the temperature is above 50F.
Then check the AC/heater core drain for water. Any water that gets into the HVAC system will wind up there, and if it is plugged it will eventually fill up and drain on the passenger side carpet.
