Sounds like one of those rice burners, eh...:)

My experience is that most if not all aftermarket exhausts are louder than the factory systems. Bosal is one of the better ones for Volvos. I don’t know the correct cold idle speed, but 1750 rpm does seem high.

Will I buy another Volvo??? We'll see....
