Checking ATF In 2006 S40 S40-V40

The newer cars don't have dipsticks. You have to use the infotainment system to check the level, at least for engine oil.

Changing or adding ATF to more 'modern' cars requires a lift because the car must be level. The drain plug is part of the level inspection hole. The ATF must be at 100C temperature, etc.

If you see a 2020 car with more than 50K miles on it, feel sorry for the owner. It is time for the junk yard!
