Radiator Fan

What year and model is your car? On the P2 cars the fan is triggered by the same sensor that feeds the temp gauge. So if the temp gauge is running mid-range then it’s likely the sensor is OK. The fan controller that is mounted integral to the fan motor assembly is often the culprit. The controller gets a signal from the ECM via the purple wire that it wants the fan engaged. The fan controller then acts as a sort of “relay” that turns on the fan via the larger gauge wires. Have you checked the fan fuse?
