My car was left unlocked, with the keys on the console (in my driveway).

A thief stole my cell phone and a roll of quarters, not the car. The cell phone was "locked" so unusable; I found it in the bushes a week later near my house.

Now I lock the car in my driveway even though it's a PITA. No alarm though...
Someday I'll clean the kids' $30 Little Tykes car and other things out of my garage and put the $40,000 car in there!
