Geartronic shift points V70-XC70 2001

I bought it for my wife and I drive it on weekends to put gas in it and wash it.
It does seem to shift very early when driven easy. But depending on the amount of throttle being applied it does stretch the shifts out accordingly. Exactly what RPM seems to vary according to load (i.e uphill, weight in vehicle etc).
Other than that how do you like it so far?
