Alpine CD changers? 850 1995

dealer suggested we get an aftermarket 6-disc cd changer cause back then, it was really expensive. so we got an alpine cd changer with a 6-disc magazine. it seems to work just fine, it was even interchangeable with the magazine from the mercedes oem cd changer
