I can't handle the suspension any longer! What to do? 850 1995

I understand that the 850's, particularly w/sport suspension, ride like buckboards. Apparently, the 70 series is somewhat less harsh.

FWIW I replaced the struts/dampers on my S70 with Bilsteins. WOW! The ride is vastly improved. It certainly doesn't ride like a boulevardier, but the edge is off the bumps and there is no suspension crash-through.

Maybe a combo w/different rate springs can help. Tires make a difference too. These are tweaks. If you want good handling and a smooth ride, the choice is a BMW.
