850,940,960.....What's the difference??? 850

The 850 is a newer model and is very different mechanically. All 850's have 5 cylinder engines and are front wheel drive. THe body styling is still square but slightly rounded from earlier Volvo's. All engines are 5 cylinder in 3 variations; No turbo, low pressure turbo, and high pressure turbo. The T-5 and R models have the highest performance engines and are capable of 0-60 times under 7 seconds.

The 940's and 960's are all front engine - rear wheel drive cars. I believe the 940's have 4 cylinder and the 960 have 6 cylinder engines. The 900 series is an older body style. You can find out more about them in the RWD section of the Brickboard.
