Low beam improvement? 850 1995

I just had both of my headlight assemblies replaced (along with the windshield---pebbles kicked up in front of me...fun) and the new lenses say "Hella" on them. I don't recall seeing this on the originals. The new ones seem much brighter...but it may be my imagination. The body shop put new bulbs in, but 'm not sure what kind. The assemblies came from the local dealer. The high beams are great, the low beams seem okay, but not the best. Would those Sylvania bulbs help?
What kind of fog lights do you recomment? I have a 96 850 GLT.
