help me w/stereo install, Sin, please' 1989

i understand you're the guy to talk to. i have a 89 740T (yes i know this is in the 850 forum).

i have a new in dash cd player (DIN) and the trim kit that i want to install. i inquired at the local dealership for a wiring kit, as that's what was recommended by a local stereo shop but they only had an adapter to change to another stock Volvo unit.

what i'm looking for is some clearly described instructions for installation of the cd player and bypassing (or even removing) the amp. wouldn't it be great if all instructions in life were like LEGO instructions.

BTW, i live in Canada too.
