Rotors and pads: which brands are preferable?

The 850 SWMBOmobile has regular Brembo and regular PBR on front (not metal masters). Totally stock on rear.

Wife does drive hard, for an Asian girl. Despite all the claims otherwise, car stops fine with little or no fade. Also there have been claims of excess pedal force with PBR, but if there, is it was NOT noticed. Only issue is a small little squeal first braking of the day, but this was an operator experiment as I used no antisqueal goo. After the first stop slight squeal is gone until the following morning!
