Fault in atuomatic gearbox (flashing arrow light) 850 1994

You need to first check for what code(s) exists (A1), then try clearing it and see if it stays off. It's possibly a 313 code (PNP switch) and you might be able to clear it and keep it off for a while yet, but plan on replacing it sooner or later. If the code reappears, you'll need it ASAP or you'll be driving it in "limp home" mode.
