I recently bid on a cargo liner on eBay for my V70. It was offered by Beverly Hills Motors as something someone had ordered and then not picked up. Said retail was $119 and they would charge $20 shipping (also you could not pick up the item). Well, I didn't get it at the price I bid. It went to someone for $86.50 plus the $20 shipping for a total of $106.50.

A couple of days ago, I looked at eBay again; and lo and behold, there's another cargo liner again offered by Beverly Hills Motors. Again, it was an item they claimed someone ordered and then didn't want. For this new cargo liner, the retail is claimed at $129 and they want $25 shipping and handling. I decided I would follow up on this interesting situation.

I put in "cargo liner" on Google and came up with a website for International Autosport which sells custom cargo liners. I put in my year, make, and model and it showed me a cargo liner for $89.95 where I could pick from 3 colors and the shipping and handling is $12.50. The really interesting thing is that the picture of the liner on the Autosport website is the same one used (copied and downloaded?) on the eBay site.

Moral to the above: Things definitely ain't always what they seem...especially when someone wants to sell something. Do your homework before you buy from a stanger.
