Since this is the AWD-FWD forum and 240s are RWD, you may get more responses if you post over there at RWD.

For pricing look at kbb.com and edmunds.com. I do know that you should look very very carefully for rust in the 240s. They're notorious for rusting, particularly in the floorboards. This is usually easily repaired but it's good to know and it's leverage in your price negotiations. Have a good Volvo mechanic check it over.
