Miller - You don't specify who you took the car to. Was it a dealer? Any time I had a shop that was confused, I went to a new shop. Who has been checking the car on a regular basis?

In my experience, my dealer has some fine technicians. With all the front wheel drive cars on the road today, you should be able to find a good technician.
