98 V70 Owners, I need Help! V70-XC70

I have had a December built 1998 V70 R AWD since new.

I live in Russia (a difficult climate with bad roads), took it to Ukraine for 2 years, back in Russia now & have had NO problems with anything.

It now has 70,000 klms. I have replaced the usual things light bulbs, indicator bulbs & that's it.

I am amazed at people who blame the model on bulbs etc. as these are normal to blow - does the lights in your house last forever?

Also, the yellow coating dissolving on turn bulbs? By the way, Volvo (or any manufacturer) do not make the bulbs.

Anyway, I love it.
