Flame trap trouble? S60 2001

GUYS,

How about the new n/a engines. I have a 2001 S60 and have asked the dealer about this. Based on their answer looks to me that they know nothing about it. They said, "oh yeah, there is an air box", and they showed me where it is. They said they are not aware of any maintenance, cleaning or anything else about it.

Does someone knows?

Please advise. I just want to know if this issue was resolved for newer engines.
