Considering crossing over- 850 1994

I am a long-time 740/940 driver considering buying an 850. I test drove a 1996 850 GLE 5-speed yesterday and came away trying to like the car, but just couldn't, despite this ones excellent condition. I think that an 850 should have the stiffer suspension and turbo-charging in order to be something other than just a very well-made, safe, reliable, but bland mid-size FWD car.

I'll try a GLT or Turbo if I can.
