The 6.2 seems pretty questionable to me as well. IPD puts the upgraded T5 at around 6.2 and the GLT at 7.2. Probably the more important fact is that the upgrade will take about a second off of where you were. Where you were is highly dependent on the specific car, the driver, and even the weather. So 6.2 for the GLT might require the most abusive launch, perfect weather, tailwind and down hill :) Whereas 7.2 might be more realistic with the average car, the average driver, and perhaps non-ideal weather. Also the 7.2 covers sedan, wagon, and AWD drive in the published numbers - all of these cars are certainly not equal. The AWD drive system will add about 0.5 in 0-60 and the extra weight of the wagon will add some more. So somewhere between 6.2 and 7.2 is probably realistic for my particular car.
I should have the thing back on Friday.
